What was your childhood like?
During mine, I played with friends, had a paper route, and enjoyed summers at the pool.
I was also fortunate enough to have good health. But each year, at least 300,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer. That equates to one child -- one family -- hearing the words "I'm sorry, but..." every two minutes.
For the first time, I'm going to do something about it: I'm shaving my head.
The emotional toll is unimaginable, and the financial hardship is sometimes insurmountable. Your donations help pay mortgages, buy groceries, and help families stay near their child while going to treatment. Every little bit helps ease the burden and lift a few worries.
Encourage me with words, support me with funds, or share a story in solidarity.
