Because Cancer Sucks
by Mark Ulrich
Supporting: 10th Annual Shave for a Cure for Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation
Why do I shave, because kids still get cancer
and my little girls, Fallon and Georgie, are the most important thing in the
world to me. No parent should ever lose a child to cancer. As I explained to
Dena Sherwood, the founder of this wonderful organization a few years ago,
"When the day comes that there is no more childhood cancer, I will no
longer have my head shaved for this event." When I was first introduced to
the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation several years ago, I had no idea
how it would come to change my life. I have been extremely fortunate to be able
to be part of such a wonderful event and organization. I shave to help the
families hurt by this awful disease. God Bless and thanks for your Support.
